Queensland aims to support families early so that children can stay safe with their families before problems escalate. Queensland has a high rate of children accessing early intervention services. The latest data shows that 14.6 per 1,000 children in Queensland received intensive family support services in 2021-22, which was above the national average of 10.7 per 1,000 children.
