Queensland aims to support families early so that children can stay safe with their families before problems escalate. Queensland has a high rate of children accessing early intervention services. The latest data shows that 15.3 per 1,000 children in Queensland received Intensive Family Support services in 2020-21, which was above the national average of 10.3 per 1,000 children.
